At Olde Soul, we’ve always believed that barbering is more than a craft—it’s about community, connection, and showing up for one another. That same spirit carries over to the mats, where members of our team are stepping into competition not just for medals, but for a cause bigger than themselves.

On October 4, 2025, athletes from across the country will gather for the Tap Cancer Out Austin BJJ Open, an event that unites Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitors to fight for those in the biggest fight of all—the battle against cancer. Every competitor enters not just as an athlete, but as a fundraiser, working to generate critical dollars for cancer-fighting organizations.

This year, our very own Olde Soul fighters are competing. Their goal? To raise funds and awareness that directly support innovative research, patient care, and organizations bringing hope where it’s needed most. Every roll, every takedown, and every submission attempt is a step toward something much greater than a podium finish.

Why It Matters

Cancer touches everyone. Whether it’s a family member, a friend, or a client in our chairs, the impact runs deep. That’s why we’re proud to stand with Tap Cancer Out—to put our strength, our time, and our platform into something that will change lives.

How You Can Help

Supporting our fighters is simple. You can contribute directly through their fundraising pages on the Tap Cancer Out site, or spread the word by sharing the event. Every dollar raised fuels the fight against cancer, helping to fund breakthrough programs and provide real support for those who need it most.

Join Us

We invite our clients, friends, and extended community to rally behind this effort. Whether you donate, attend the event, or simply share the mission, you’re part of the team. Together, we can take the fight off the mats and into the lives of those who need it most.

Olde Soul is proud to be in the corner for this one. Let’s fight together—because when the community shows up, no one fights alone.
